Luvme Hair Counts Down 2026’s Top Cut, Color and Style Trends
Ashley Nicole, Wig + Extensions Specialist for Luvme Hair, is sharing the trends she sees emerging firsthand, inspired by her role as an in-demand salon stylist and the clients she works with daily. Ashley is predicting a shift from heavy layering to soft layering, alongside a move from the “Clean Girl” aesthetic to a more natural “messy”, lived in look instead. Here are the six looks not to be missed in 2026:
1. The “Lived-In” Bob
We all can agree the bob is a classic and it’s not going anywhere. When you think of a bob cut, what’s the first word that comes to mind? Is it precision? Sleek? If so, we’re changing the perception of the bob, and ushering in the lived in look. Think subtle waves instead of styled pin straight. Combined with a texture cut instead of the typical blunt cut. Not ready to make the big chop? Test out the look with one of Luvme’s iconic bob cut units.
2. Cowboy Copper
Cowboy copper is the perfect blend of Fall and Summer, giving you the warm, earthy tones that personify Fall, blended with fiery reds that’ll heat up the Summer. It’s the Earthy Fall depth that’s combining those rich, warm tones that feel cozy and timeless… paired with subtle red that gives eyecatching dimension. This makes it the top option for the office and it transitions into a night out with the girls. This is your hair inspo.
3. Fringe Fever
Nothing makes a statement, like BANGS. As a stylist, I have heard countless times from clients, “I want bangs.” When I do, I turn the chair and talk to them face to face and ask, “Are we sure?” Everyone wants bangs in the moment. A week later they’re over it and want them gone. Thankfully, we have alternatives like, clip-in bangs or even full wigs with fringe. It’s the safer option when you do not truly want to commit and no trims needed!
4. Soft, Subtle Layering
For 2025, perfectly uniform curls were the most requested. But in 2026, you’ll be leaning into styling that feels more organic, almost effortless. Last year the Wolf Cut, which involves a lot of layering, was on everyone’s mood board. For 2026, we’re opting for a soft layer that adds just enough movement. You can really make your layers pop by adding a few loose curls using a curling wand and parting your hair in 5-6 sections. Spray a bit of hairspray and you’re ready to head out the door.
5. Low-Maintenance “No Effort” Color
They say blondes have more fun, but nothing is fun about spending 8 hours in the salon for the perfect blonde, and coming back every 4-8 weeks to maintain that “natural blonde”. High maintenance blondes are fading out. They’re being replaced with rich browns. But with what exactly? Think cinnamon browns, honey highlights, and warm dimensional. Did you know that Luvme also offers pre-colored units? A fan favorite is this Honey Blonde Highlight wig.
6. V for Voluminous
In 2026, we are celebrating volume that leans more on the natural side, having anyone wondering, is that all yours? Clip-ins at one point were used for length. Now, we’re grabbing them for the instant volume it gives us. Luvme’s clip-ins help to add fullness or you can combine them with a wig unit for hybrid styling that offers maximum natural texture. You’ll be sure to find a texture or color that matches your vibe. From kinky curly to natural straight or loose beachy waves, Luvme has a variety of options to pick from. Colors also range from natural dark brown to highlighted clip-ins. All extensions are 100% human hair, so they can also be dyed by a professional.
